How to make Slow Cooker BBQ Ribs – Chef Kendra’s Easy Cooking!

Hey Cookaholics, Chef Kendra Here and it’s
amazing to be back. Did you miss me, even a little bit? I missed you. Anyway if you
follow me on intragram you know I recently bought a crockpot slower cooker thingy. I told my peeps I wanted to slow jam some
food. So today we’re going to cook some ribs in my crockpot boy. We’re not going out back
and toss them in the smoker for 16 hours and stuff. RELAX, RELAX. No they are not authentic. Matter of fact
you can assume anything I cook on this channel is not authentic. This is Chef Kendra’s Easy
Cooking and these ribs are easy to make. So, let’s do what we do and head into the kitchen
and make it happen! We’ve got our stuff ready so let’s start off
by cutting off this little bit of meat here. This piece makes for wonderful sandwiches.
Then we’re going to move on to the hardest part, figuring out what JayZ said to tick
of Solange. Wait, that’s not it. I’ve found that a lot of rib noobs get nervous
about that thin layer of stuff attached to the ribs and don’t want to remove it. But
if you don’t our awesome rub won’t penetrate the ribs and the ribs won’t seem tender, guys. So of course we’re going to remove it. I keeps
it real and this really isn’t as hard as some people think. Get over your fears guys, they
hold you back. We’re going to take a paring knife and cut
into the membrane just like so, we’re doing a little bit of surgery and cutting under
the membrane. Then using our friendly neighborhood paper towel for gripping pull off the membrane
in one motion like a BOSS. Now, it won’t always come off in one pull,
sometimes ribs like to be rude. But whateves, just regrip and remove the rest. No worries.OK,
once we’ve done that I like to trim a bit of fat off here and there leaving some on,
I mean come on we making ribs. In this bowl we’re dropping down our brown
sugar, garlic powder, black pepper, chili powder, onion powder, paprika and cumin. We’re
just going to whisk this together really well. You’ll have enough rub one more rib and you
can store in an airtight container for six months. Just rub the rub all over those rib boys,
make sure your get everywhere. We’re going to let the ribs rest for about 10 minutes
before putting then in our crock pot. We’re just going to stack the ribs in and
pour in our coke, we’re pouring down the sides because we don’t want to aggressive wash off
our rub. Then we’re going to slap on the top set this to low and let it go for five hours. Now we’re going to remove our ribs to a foil
lined baking sheet. We’re going to brush on our favorite bbq sauce and place the ribs
under the broiler and broil on the sauce. We’re going to do this on both sides. That’s all it is to it. Now back to important things. What do you
think JayZ said to Solange to tick her off? Leave that in the comments below. Hey guys, I hope you liked that. If you need
the recipe the link is in the about section below along with all my links to my social
media. Twitter, pinterest, Instagram information about my PO box. And if you want to check out my last video

Kendra is out. Peace.
