Yuriko’s 41st Birthday Facebook Fundraiser for 13th St Cat Rescue (2019-2020)

(upbeat music) – Hi, everyone! This is Yuriko, and this is Frank. And I’m running a birthday fundraiser on Facebook to celebrate my 41st birthday. And you may be wondering why am I running this fundraiser? ‘Cause I’ve already ran two. For the last two years, we ran some fundraisers. But, we decided to do it again, or I decided, he didn’t really decide, for a lot of reasons. You know, one is because they really make me happy. I really like just trying to make a difference for this organization that brought this guy into our lives ’cause he’s made a really big difference. Frank was with 13th Street…

Why We Build – Facebook Life

(light music) – When I joined Facebook six years ago, it was basically a website that people came to share photos with their friends but as more and more people turn to Facebook to get news and other kinds of critical information, it’s super important that the stuff that we show them in feed is really high quality. – So I build because Facebook has really revolutionized the concept of giving everybody a voice. I see this in my own family where I can interact and share stories and videos with my nieces and nephews around the world. – Why I build on Facebook is because I really care about…

Painting a Page in my Travel Journal · Time-Lapse and Talk-Through · SemiSkimmedMin

Hi my loves, hope you’re all good! Today I’m working on a page in my travel journal. So I sketched this in really quickly when I was there and then I forgot to take a picture so once I got back, I used google street view to draw it out properly. And I just have a doodle there of a building I did yesterday that I really liked the look of and wanted to sort of recreate that style in this piece. So I started out by just going over my pencil lines with my micron pen, just so that I wouldn’t lose them once I started painting since the…

This Girl Explains The Hardships Of Dating In The Social Media Age [Mockumentary]

It’s really hard to meet people in New York City. I moved here from a small town and I’m really noticing people are afraid to talk to strangers in public. I tried tinder, but I hated how vulgar some of the people were. So I made a Facebook, put all my best pictures on it and started adding cute guys in the area. No one has accepted my friend request though. Seriously. I even made an Instagram account and started following guys and liking their pictures but no one follows me back. I figured it’s 2016 — maybe I should just make the first move. So, I started direct messaging…

Molly Yeh, Percussionist/Food Blogger | Life After Juilliard

I write a food and travel blog and I’ve also just written a cookbook. They’re both focused on cuisine inspired by my Jewish and Chinese heritage as well as my new Midwestern surroundings. I’ve always kept Diaries and I’ve always been into food. I’ve always enjoyed eating it, but when I moved to New York to study at Juilliard that’s when I really got excited about the restaurant scene in New York, and it was partly because of my percussion teacher, Gordon Gottlieb, who is also really really into food, and he would come to my lessons with stories of all these crazy things that he had just eaten. At…
