Teen Activist Chanice Lee Is Honored By Rapsody For Making Change | Black Girls Rock 2019

– “Black Girls Rock!”
and Coca-Cola are proud to share the honor
of celebrating Chanice Lee. As a 16-year-old activist,
author, speaker, blogger, she unapologetically
dares to change the world by serving as
a UN Foundation ambassador for Girls Up, an organization dedicated to helping women
worldwide find their voice. Her first book, “Young Revolutionary:
The Teen’s Guide to Activism,” acts as a blueprint
for other black teens to follow in her footsteps and become activists
in their own right. Chanice Lee, never stop
owning your voice. You rock. [cheers and applause] – My name is Chanice Lee. I am a author and blogger. My blog is the number one
online global platform for social justice,
politics, and more written entirely from
the black teen’s perspective. My book is called
“Young Revolutionary,” and I wrote and published
“Young Revolutionary” to give teens the confidence
and resources needed to become successful activists,
leaders, and changemakers. My name is Chanice Lee, and I’m
a black girl that rocks. [cheers and applause]
– Coming up, a special
performance from Kiana Ledé,
